{"id":781,"date":"2021-09-20T10:03:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T10:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.nicarb.org\/?p=781"},"modified":"2021-09-23T10:12:18","modified_gmt":"2021-09-23T10:12:18","slug":"annual-essay-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.nicarb.org\/index.php\/2021\/09\/20\/annual-essay-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"ANNUAL ESSAY COMPETITION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb) is happy to announce her Annual Essay Competition for the year themed \u2018\u2019<strong>ARBITRATION, INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION AND THE WIDENING OF THE ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION SPACE: BLOATED EXPECTATIONS OR A MATTER OF TIME<\/strong>?\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This annual essay competition is organised in an effort to harness creativity and initiative of the world\u2019s youth in promoting Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the ADR global space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guidelines for Submission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essays are to be typed using: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ariel Font Size12 (Footnote Size 10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OSCOLA footnote referencing style. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Word Count: 3, 000 \u2013 10, 000 (Footnotes inclusive)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Space: 1.5 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submission Deadline: 30th October, 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forward entries to <strong>research@nicarb.org <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prizes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1st Position<\/strong>: N150, 000. 00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2nd Position<\/strong>: 100, 000. 00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3rd Position<\/strong>: 50, 000. 00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Winners will be officially awarded and recognized at our 2021 Annual Conference slated for 18th -19th, November, 2021.
