This is a call for submission of paper(s) to be considered for publication in the forthcoming issue of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators’ Journal of Arbitration, due for publication on 4th November, 2021.
The Institute welcomes contributions on Arbitration or/and other forms of ADR’s such as Negotiation, Mediation, Conciliation and so on. The Journal of Arbitration of The Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, is devoted to discussions on issues relating to Arbitration and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism towards promoting the effective practice of these different forms of ADR’s.
The Journal seeks to expressly solicit and publish a diversity of presentations, scrutiny and discussions of research and valuable information to the arbitration and ADR community. It also promotes the effective practice of these different forms of ADR’s both nationally and internationally.
Guidelines for Contributors:
• Articles must be in the ‘Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities’ OSCOLA footnote referencing style.
• Articles must be well-researched, original as much as possible, devoid of plagiarism and deals with contemporary issues in Arbitration and other forms of ADR’s.
• Articles should be 2,500-10,000 words long, although submissions may be considered if they are below or above this word length.
• Contributors are to provide a short abstract of the paper of not more than 300 words.
• Articles will be peer-reviewed for accuracy and relevance.
• Contributors are implored to thoroughly proof-read their article before submission.
