Louise Barrington is an International Dispute resolver with 30 years of experience. She practiced law in Ontario before moving into international commercial arbitration after graduate studies in Paris.
She has arbitrated disputes involving sales (goods under CISG, English law and UCC, and shares), construction, banking, franchises, insurance, wrongful dismissal, intellectual property and licensing, agency and procurement. In Canada she has chaired financial services disciplinary hearings, investigated bank/consumer disputes and has acted as sole arbitrator in numerous domestic insurance cases.
For many years Ms. Barrington served on Hong Kong’s ICC Arbitration Commission nomination committee. She taught international arbitration both as a law faculty member (HK’s CityU and Chinese U), directed the Construction Law and Dispute Resolution Programme at King’s College London, and has been an external professor (Osgoode Hall in Toronto, PUC in Sao Paulo, Charles University in Prague, Latrobe in Melbourne, to name a few). She is creator and director of the Dispute Resolution Module for the SiLS on-line LLM in International Commercial Law, now attached to Australia’s Bond University.
She has taught and/or assessed senior arbitrators for the Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators and the Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society (TCAS). She is also an accredited mediator.
Ms Barrington speaks English and French fluently, conversational Spanish, and a little German.

Diamana Diawara started her career in 2012 as Deputy Advisor at the Secretariat of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Within the team covering the Middle East, Africa and French-speaking Europe, it has developed, through the administration of several hundred procedures, expertise in arbitration international under the aegis of the ICC Rules and a real knowledge of commercial disputes and investment in these regions.
She was subsequently appointed Advisor to the same team in the fall of 2015. As such, she is the privileged interlocutor of the parties and arbitrators involved in the files of his team and uses her experience to ensure the smooth running of the procedures she supervises. As part of her activity, she regularly speaks at conferences and training sessions to represent the Court and its Secretariat.
Before joining the CCI, Diamana was trained in the international arbitration department of Cabinet Dentons in Paris. Diamana also works as a teacher in the framework of the Master 2 Commercial Law from the University of Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense and the University Diploma in internal and international arbitration of the University of Montpellier. In addition, she participates in several professional networks. In particular as a member of OHADA group of the French Arbitration Committee, of the Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF) of the CCI or again from the Women in Law group.
Diamana is currently the Director, Arbitration and ADR for Africa at the International Chamber of Commerce.

Rafael is a Professor of the graduate programme at Fundação Getulio Vargas Law (FGV LAW). He is a Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR) Council Member and Co-Chair of the CPR Brazil Advisory Board.
He bagged a Bachelor of Law, Master, Civil Procedure and Ph.D from the University of São Paulo (USP). He also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from New York University (NYU).He is an Arthur T. Vanderbilt Scholar and a recipient of the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Medal (2010).
Rafael is a member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR) and the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr). He holds experience in arbitration matters involving clients in domestic and international arbitration, mediation and negotiation on complex disputes regarding construction contracts, M&A transactions, commercial partnerships, real estate, banking, energy, public concessions, public-private partnerships, amongst others.
Rafael is currently the director of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) and regularly sits as an arbitrator and mediator in several Brazilian institutions.
He is also the coordinator of the New York University Alumni Club in São Paulo and Former Deputy Counsel at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

Maître is a doctorate in law following the competition of a thesis devoted to specific issues related to the enforcement of arbitral awards. In addition to a university degree combining the studies of fundamental private law and business law, Sylvie BEBOHI EBONGO has professional experience as a lawyer in an auditing and consulting firm. Passionate about the ADR, she has a strong interest in mediation and other methods of dispute resolution likely to allow an amicable resolution of disputes.
She can therefore accompany or intervene in matters of commercial or investment mediation. Drowning on the skills acquired throughout her academic and professional career, Maître Sylvie BEBOHI EBONGO joined forces with Maître Alvine Bélise HAPPI to create the HBE Avocats Law firm.
